The group started its EPDM rubber profile manufacturing operations at Rudrapur in 1986 with technical assistance from ETS Lescuyer S.A., France under the name of ALP, Anand Lascuyer Polymers Ltd. ALP is now the corporate brand of the group.

In 1997, the group established its second factory at Lalru in Punjab in collaboration with the Nishikawa Rubber Company Ltd. of Japan, the world leader in the field with over 50 years of experience in developing and perfecting sealing technology and products.

Today, the EPDM business is better known as Alp Overseas Company Ltd or ANCO. The company has state-of-the-art facilities with total covered area of 260,000 sq. ft. It has been manufacturing Specialty Rubber Products for over a decade now. The commendable list of clients includes illustrious names like Suzuki, Honda, Toyota Kirloskar, Volvo India Ltd, General Motors, and Indian Railways.

The kind of Profile was the natural prerequisite to allow the company to establish a profound base in the insulation market.

So, continuing the same spirit, Alp Overseas has introduced A-flex – A Closed Cell Nitrile Rubber Insulation technology, in collaboration with EAI SRL, Italy and has become the first ever Indian company to introduce this light weight, flexible elastomeric nitrile foam material in the country.
